The "NO GPS SIGNAL" status means the Eagle One tracker isn’t receiving enough GPS signal to determine the asset’s location. This can happen for several reasons:
-
Obstructed Environment:
The asset may be inside a garage, building, underground structure, or another indoor area where GPS signals are blocked by concrete or metal. -
Restricted Zones:
Some controlled areas, such as those near airports or military bases, may interfere with GPS signal reception. -
Installation Location:
If the tracker is installed in a location surrounded by metal or wiring, it may weaken the GPS signal strength.
Note:
If you installed the Eagle One tracker on a trailer, the installation location is critical. For optimal signal reception, we recommend placing the tracker somewhere with a clearer view of the sky and minimal metal interference. Every trailer is different, so it may take some adjustment to find the best spot.
