Does the Dash Cam record continuously?

The Dash Cam only records when the vehicle ignition is on. When the ignition is turned off, the Dash Cam does not actively record video footage. However, it does detect motion and allows for freeze frames to be captured every 15 seconds while the vehicle is parked.
