How can I add my asset financials for use in Job Costing and Fleet Maintenance?

Providing financial information is critical for calculating accurate job costs and fleet maintenance costs, including vehicle depreciation and fuel cost. Here’s how to update it:

You can also find the instructions below-

(1) In the Map View, click on the asset you want to update.

(2) Click on “Asset Details.”

(3) In the Asset Info section, click the three-dot icon (•••) and select “Edit Financial Details.”

(4) In the Edit Financial Details window, enter the following:

• Total Purchase Price ($)

• Estimated Lifetime Mileage (Miles)

• Maintenance Cost Per Mile ($) – This will be auto-calculated if Fleet Maintenance is enabled. You can also enter it manually.

• Miles Per Gallon (MPG)

• Fuel Cost Per Gallon ($) – This value is auto-filled based on the average geolocation price, but you may adjust it if needed.

When finished, click “Save.”

(5)Your financial details are now updated and will reflect under Asset Info for accurate cost tracking.

Notes:

• Enabling Fleet Maintenance is highly recommended for automatic maintenance cost tracking.

• If you're not using Fleet Maintenance, you can manually input your estimated maintenance cost per mile.

• Fuel cost per gallon is geolocation-based by default, but can be overridden for better accuracy.
