If your Toolie-attached equipment has been stolen or misplaced, its status will appear as “Out-of-Range,” indicating it's no longer near your Eagle 1 GPS tracker.
But don’t worry—Momentum IoT uses a Mesh Network, similar to Apple AirTag. This network allows Toolies to communicate with any nearby Momentum IoT devices (including those from other fleets). If another Momentum device comes within range, the Toolie will securely ping its location to the cloud.
To be notified as soon as your equipment comes back online, follow the steps below to set up a Lost Mode monitor:
(1) From the top menu, click on “Monitors”, then select “Equipment.”
(2) Click “Add Monitor.”
(3) Choose “Online” from the list of monitor types, then click “Next.”
(4) Enter a name for the monitor (e.g., “Lost and Found”), then click “Next.”
(5) Select “Individual Equipment” as the assignment type.
(6) Choose the specific piece of equipment that has been stolen or lost, then click “Next.”
(7) Set the alert status to “Follow.”
Set the priority to High
Enable alerts via Email and Text Message by toggling both options
(8) (Optional but recommended) If you’d also like to receive push notifications, open the Momentum mobile app and enable push alerts for this monitor.
(9) Once any other Momentum IoT devices pass by your equipment, its status will change to online, and you will receive alerts and an updated equipment location.
