The Check Engine Light monitor alerts you when a vehicle’s onboard diagnostics system detects a fault and triggers the check engine light. This feature is only available for compatible vehicles with CANBUS data via OBD connection.
(1) From the top navigation bar, click on “Monitors”, then select “Add Monitors.”
(2) Click on “Check Engine Light”, then click “Next.”
(3) Enter a name for the monitor, then click “Next.”
(4) Select the assignment level. You can choose Global (all assets), or filter by Groups, Locations, or specific Assets. This monitor will only apply to vehicles that support CANBUS data over OBD.
(5) Under Follow/Unfollow, click “Follow.” Set the priority of the alert (High or Moderate) and choose your alert method (Email, Text, or Both). Then click “Add.”
(6) Your Check Engine Light Monitor is now active and listed under the Monitor Overview.
