How to set up an Excessive Idling alert/monitor?

The "Excessive Idling" monitor alerts you when a vehicle idles beyond a set threshold, helping reduce fuel waste and engine wear.

To set up an Excessive Idling Monitor, follow these steps:

(1) From the top navigation bar, click on “Monitors”, then select “Add Monitors.”

 

(2) Click on “Excessive Idling”, then click “Next.”

(3) Enter a name for the monitor and set the idling threshold (the alert will trigger if the idling time exceeds this limit). Click “Next.”

(4) Select the assignment level. You can choose Global (all assets), or filter by Groups, Locations, or specific Assets.

(5) Set the priority of the alert (High or Moderate) and choose the alert method (Email, Text, or Both). Then click “Add.”

(6) Your Excessive Idling Monitor is now active and listed under the Monitor Overview.
