The Hard Braking monitor alerts you when a driver brakes suddenly or aggressively—an indication of potentially risky driving behavior that may signal tailgating, distracted driving, or unsafe road conditions. This behavior is detected by your Dash Cam.
To set up an Hard Braking Monitor, follow these steps:
(1) From the top navigation bar, click on “Monitors”, then select “Add Monitors.”
(2) Click on “Hard Braking”, then click “Next.”
(3) Enter a name for the monitor. When done, click “Next.”
(4) Select the assignment level. You can choose Global (all assets), or filter by Groups, Locations, or specific Assets
5) Set the priority of the alert (High or Moderate) and select the alert method (Email, Text, or Both). Then click “Add.”
(6) Your Hard Braking Monitor is now active and listed under the Monitor Overview.
