Jobsite Analytics is a powerful way to track fieldwork across your fleet and workforce. Once set up, it automatically logs job activity, employee time, equipment usage, and job costs, including fleet depreciation and fuel. It even backfills past activity for up to a year!
If you're ready to dive in, you can follow the interactive tutorial here or continue with the step-by-step instructions below-
(1) Click “Operations” on the top menu bar, then select “Jobsites”.
(2) Click “Add Jobsite” at the top right.
(3) Please enter a Start Address and Arrival Time if you'd like to estimate travel cost and labor time for Job Costing Estimation.
However, if you don’t need the estimation, you can input placeholder information to proceed.
(4) Use the “Draw” button to draw a geofence around the jobsite area.
- This will define the boundaries of the jobsite.
- You won’t be able to proceed until a geofence is drawn.
Click “Next” when finished.
(5) On the Monthly Budget screen, you can fill in visit counts, labor hours, other costs, and revenue to budget your jobsite P&L.
- This step is optional and can be skipped if you don’t have the info handy.
- We’ll cover detailed P&L tracking in How to set up your Job Costing
Click “Skip” or “Add” to proceed.
(6) You’ll see a confirmation that your Jobsite has been successfully created. Click “Close”.
(7) Your new Jobsite will appear on the list with a “Processing” label.
- This usually takes less than 30 minutes.
- After processing, it will update to one of the following statuses:
a. Active - One or more assets are currently on the job site.
b. Pending - No jobs have ever been recorded at this jobsite.
c. No Status - The jobsite is inactive, meaning no assets are currently inside the jobsite.
Once your jobsite is active, you’ll be able to track:
- Visit history
- Labor hours (with timestamps)
- Average Travel Time
- Financial Information including Fleet Cost, Labor Cost, and Profit/Loss
- Budget Difference
All in one centralized dashboard.
