Sometimes, if your Dash Cam wasn't configured properly, a factory reset may be needed. Please follow the steps below, or contact a Momentum IoT support representative for guidance:
(1) Ensure the Dash Cam is securely plugged in and receiving power.
(2) Press and hold the button located on the bottom of the Dash Cam for 30 seconds, then release it.
The settings menu should appear on the Dash Cam display.
(3) Use the same button to scroll through the menu until you find “Factory Reset.”
(4) Press and hold the button again until the indicator light turns red, confirming the reset has begun.
(5) Wait for the reset process to complete. Once finished, verify that the Dash Cam is functioning properly.
